It is my pleasure to nominate for the 2009 Award of Russian Advisory Board of the City of West Hollywood the “Unity in Diversity Arts Foundation.”

UNITY IN DIVERSITY ARTS FOUNDATION

It was a wonderful surprise to learn of the opening of this great Foundation.  We finally have an organization dedicated to fulfill and enrich the cultural needs of our great people and the future generations of our community.   

Until the formation of the UIDA Foundation, we lacked the cultural representation for our artists, composers and performers.  Now, with its monthly activities, the Foundation is making it possible for us to finally have our concerts, exhibitions, competitions, etc.  We appreciate the hard work that the Foundation is performing for our community.

The dedication and tireless work of the great founder and producer Lev Volovik , and my wonderful long-time friend, artist, composer and performer Zinovy Shersher, made this all possible.

In my opinion, the Unity in Diversity Arts Foundation, is one of the most productive foundations in the greater Los Angeles area.  I believe it to be the most deserving of this  Outstanding Community Service Award.
