“The Case of Offenbach”

On Sunday 6, 2010, the Fiesta Hall invites everyone, who hates boredom, to attend the “ Case of Offenbach” hearing. This case--”Operetta vs. Serious music” - involves many composers, singers, and artists who try to defend Operetta and her fans. Please do not be indifferent and vote for this young and beautiful genre. You need the following items for voting: a smile, a good mood, and an optimistic attitude toward life. We look forward to seeing you at the court!
That case is a musical parody on a hearing. The action is going on in the modern court. The judge accuses Operetta and her followers for vulgar taste, bad influence on the people, and for destruction of the foundation of serious music. Operetta cannot be present, so her representatives, five famous composers— Offenbach, Strauss, Legar, Kalman, and Plankett—try to defend her. The testimony of each accused helps solve the question: is Operetta guilty or not? Dear spectator, your voice has crucial importance in this duel. Please understand that the scale of your applause is directly connected with the final verdict.
